A creative tribute to the frames discarded from the final cut — the outtakes
Outtakes gives you access to enjoy the entire catalogue of visuals captured from an artist’s single project.
Given the artist’s outtakes are often unpublished, we exist to celebrate them. The purpose of presenting the outtakes is to champion the artist’s storytelling and visual journey, not just the end result.
The artists featured are a curated pool of talented photographers and videographers from around the world. Each project feature includes the unpublished work (the outtakes) alongside the final edit and a Q&A with each artist.
We entirely support the art of human-creation, that’s why AI-generated works are not eligible.
Curated by Sarah Louise Kinsella.
Here’s what the artists say…
“Outtakes bring the art back into photography. Any platform that helps photographers showcase their true voice is much needed in this consumer obsessed industry.”
“Having a platform to share outtakes can help demystify the process and provide viewers with a more real and balanced understanding of what goes into creating the ‘perfect image’.”
“Outtakes give you a sneak peek at the creative process and it's something we rarely see.”
– Jo Duck
“Sometimes the outtakes are more thought-provoking or beautiful than the originals.”
